Welcome To ICT in Year 12

Course

The OCR ICT A-Level is split up into two years, as is the same as all A-Level courses. There are many core skills to be learnt, and the chance to use these skills to create a variety of work and media.

Exams

Unlike many A-Levels, OCR ICT has only one Exam, and that takes place in January of Year 12, the first year. However, if students do not achieve a grade they are happy with, then there are three more oppourtunities to re-take the exam. If your pupil unfortunately does worse in his/her resits, then only the highest score from all the exams that they have taken will be submitted for final marking.

Exam Board

The exam board that this course is hosted in is The Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations Board (OCR). This exam board is highly reputable and hosts many other A Level exams, and are one of the most poluar for schools in the UK.
